Liposuction, in general, you have to think of it as sculpting. This is an artful sculpting of the body. I don’t really recommend laser liposuction or liposuction in general for people that want to lose a whole lot of weight. This really isn’t for you. This isn’t a weight loss product. If you’re 40 pounds overweight, you’re not gonna have 40 pounds taken off in one procedure. Actually, the amount of weight that you lose from liposuction is quite small because it’s replaced by a lot of fluid and so you really don’t see a whole lot of change in your weight. But what you do see a change in is your contours. Liposuction is for recontouring the body for areas, like, around our stomach, around our legs, areas that, gosh, Doc, I work out all the time or I’ve lost a bunch of weight and just can’t lose this area over here. Or I hear it out of men, I have a big chest, and I just can’t get the definition that I want. Or under my arms on women, or around my stomach or my hips.
